The plt: and deft: appeares in Cort:
John Anderson Late of Sommersett County was Attatched to answer
Randall Revell in A plea of Debt
And whereupon the said Randall Revell for himselfe saith that he
the said John Anderson Did upon the eight day of Aprill in the
XXXiXth: year of the Dominion of Caecilius &c Ao: Do: 1671 by A Certain
spetiallty signed with the hand and Sealed with the Seale of him the said
Anderson; wch: is produced by the plaintiffe here in Cort: Assume upon
himselfe and promise that he the said Anderson woulld pay or Cause
to be well and truly paid unto Randall Revell aforesaid his heires
executors: administrators: or assignes the full and Just quantity of one
Thousand pounds of good Sound marchantable tobacco and Caske to be pd:
to the aforesaid Randall Revell or his ordr: upon all demands after y
date of the Said 10th: of octobr: next ensueing the date of the said
specialty at some Convenient place in Sommersett County
To the performance of which he bindes himselfe his heires executors:
admrs: or assignes in the penalty of Two thousand pounds of Like
tobacco

tobacco but he the said Anderson Little regarding his promise
but ffraudulently intending to Deceive him the said Revell
of the aforesaid quantity of one thousand pounds of good
sound marchantable tobacco & caske which being often demanded
but he the said Anderson Denieing and Still doth to pay the
plaintiffe sayes he is Dampnified and thereupon brings his
sute for the penall summe of Two Thousand pounds of tobacco &c.

This bill bindeth me John Anderson of the province of Maryland
and County of Sommersett Saweir my heires executors: admrs:
or assignes to pay or Cause to be well and truly paid to mr:
Randall Revell of the Province aforesaid and high Sherriffe of
the said County his Certaine attorney his heires executors: admrs:
or assignes the Just quantity of one thousand pounds of good
sound marchantable tobacco and Caske to be paid at some Convenient
place in Sommersett County and due at all Demands after the
10th: day of october next ensueing for the true performance whereof
I bind mee Selfe my heires executors: admrs: or assignes in the
penalty of Two Thousand pounds of Like tobacco as wittnes
my hand and Seale this 8th: day of Aprill Ao: Do: 1671 ; /
