Sommersett County The Def^t: was attached to answer the pl^t: in an
accon of the Case
whereas the Def^t: was presented by the Jury of Enquest for that
he had fraudulently past and put away to the pl^t: a hh^d: filled
a great part of it with tobacco Stalkes and pegs and other Trash in
Stead of good tobacco who upon tryall was found guilty to have
Transgressed the good Lawes & Custemes of this province And
whereas the pl^t: hath demanded satisfaccon of the Def^t: for his
Losse thereby Sustained the Def^t: doth deny to allowe him satisfaccon
for the same thereupon the pl^t: bringeth his Sute and prayeth
to have order against the Def^t: for his Dammadge therein Sus:
