The Deposicon of John King of Manoakin aged about
25 yeares taken in Cort: ye 12th: August 1673 ~ ~ ~
saith The last summer I was at mr: Johnsons and it was said
there was A Strange Cowe, And I went to See whether it was
not my mothers she haveing lost A Cowe then; but it was
none of hers, being an olld browne Cowe Cropt of ye left ear
and overhalfed of the right ear, And I sawe A Cowe at mr:
Revells pen of the same marke last sumer & further saith not

Know All men by these presents that wee Thomas Evans
of Pocomoke in Sommersett County in the Province of MaryLand
Boateright William Giles of the province Aforesd: plantor
And George Phebus of the same County & Province aforesaid
Cooper Doe Stand and are firmely bound and obliged unto
the Rt: honble: Caecilius Absolute Lord and Proprietary
of the Provinces of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of
Baltemore &c in the summe of ten pounds Sterling money
To be paid to the said Lord Proprietary his heires Lords and
Proprietaries or theire Certaine Attorney, To the which paymt:
well and truly to be made wee doe binde us and every and
either of us Jointly and Severally for and in the whole
our and every and either of our heires executors and
administrators firmly by these presents Sealed with
our Seales and signed with our hands dated the sixteenth
day of August in the XXXXiith: yeare of the Dominion
