hath and Still doth Detaine and keepe from y aforesd:
William Naughton A man Servant knowne by the name of
Nathaniell Williams as by an order of Cort: held for north
thampton County in virginia the 7th: day of march Annoq
Domini 1671 The which the plaintife is ready here to pro
duce in Cort: will more plainely appeare and although the
aforesaid William Naughton hath often times demanded
the said servant and forewarned the aforesaid William
Ellis Coleman to retaine or entertaine the aforesaid Nathaniell
Williams yet notwithstanding the aforesaid Ellis Coleman
hath and Still doth refuse to Deliver the aforesaid Nathaniell
servant to the aforesaid William wherefore the said Wm:
as aforesaid bringeth his Sute ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
The plt: produceeth this ffollowing ordr: wch: is read
At A Cort: helld for northampton County the 7th: march 1671
~ ~ ~ major: Wm: Andrews ~
prSent Capta: John West : mr: John Michall
Capta: Edmd: Bowman: mr: Wm: Curtis
Whereas it appeares by A Condicon of Agreemt: under the
hands of Wm: Naughton and Nathaniell Williams that natha:
Williams was thereby to serve the said naughton the terme
of foure yeares beginning in october 1671 for A Consideracon
in the said Condicon Specifyed And whereas the Court doe
Conceive the said Consideracon to be to Little for soe
Long service and the said naughton having referred
himselfe to the Cort: to ordr: further Consideracon as they
shoulld thinke fitt, The Court Does accordingly order
That
