These Presents Wittnesseth that I Cuthbert Potter of
the County of Middlesex in Rappahannock river in
Virginia marchant have made ordained Constituted
and appointed and Doe by these presents make ordaine
Constitute and appointe Samuell Cooper late of the
County of Northumberland gent: my true and Lawfull
Attorney for me and in my name Steed and place to
aske Demand receive Leavy Sue for implead and
recover all and Singular such bills bonds booke debts
or accompts of what sort soever either tobacco porke
money Chattles or what goods of what Sort soever either
is may or Cann any way or by any meanes appeare to
be Due to me the said Potter in the Province of Maryland
by bills bonds booke Debts or accots: of what goods soever
of what sort soever made & Contracted by Richard Morley
Robert Willis Obadiah fflinte or my selfe or by any
such persons Employed by me the said Potter giveing
and granting unto my said Attorney my full Strength
power and Authority to arreast pSecute and Imprison
and upon satisfaccon made and received to remitt
release accquitt and Discharge; And ffurther I the said
Potter Doe ffully and absolutely give my said Attorney
as full power and authority in all Causes and over all
persons as if I my Selfe were personally present to sue
and recover all such Debts Contracted by the said Richard
Morley in the yeare of our Lord 1669 who was then
A Servant to me the said Potter together with all other debts
made by the aforesaid Willis or flinte or my selfe
or
