The plt: saith that mr: Jones hath given him Creditt for
no more then eight hundred sixty & two pounds of tobacco
and produceth in Cort: the Deposicon of the sd: Jones wch: is read
Aprill the 4th: 1672
I Thomas Jones doe solemly Declare that my receiver gave
mee an accot: of four hundred twenty and six pounds of
tobacco recd: from David Williamsons for the use of mr:
Beauchamp and my Selfe recd: one hhd: more at mr: Brownes
which weighed four hundred and three pounds or there
abouts and thirty three pounds I allowed upon Accot: for
use of the said mr: Beauchamp which said three sums
amounts to eight hundred sixty and two pounds of
tobacco all recd: from Thomas Ball for the use abovesaid
And I Doe further Sweare that I never received any
more from Tho: Ball for the use of sd: mr: Beauchamp
wittnes my hand ~ ~ ~ Tho: Jones
Sworne before mee the day
& year above written
