which summe of tobacco the plaintiffe hath oftentimes demanded
and the Defendant neglecting to pay the same and Still doth
neglect The plt: saith is Damnified to the vallue of eight hundred
and eighty pounds of tobacco therefore the plaintiffe brings
his accon to this Cort: and Craves an order for the aforesaid
summe of tobacco with Cost of Sute ~ ~ ~

Know all men by these presents that I Arthur Evett of Somersett
County in Maryland planter doe acknowledge to owe and Stand
indebted unto John England of the Citty of Bristoll marcht: &
Compa: in the full and Just quantity of ffoure hundred & forty
pounds of good Sound Marchantable bright and Lardge Aranoco
Tobacco in Caske to be paid from of Thomas Davies plantacon in
Manokin river at or before the tenth day of october next ensueing
the Date hereof to the Sd: England his Lawfull Attorney his
heires executors: admrs: or assignes; To the which payment well &
truly to be made I binde me my heires executors: and admrs:
firmly by these presents In wittnes whereof I have here Sett
my hand and Seale this twenty & fourth day of July Ao: 1670
