203 The Same day Commrs as afore
Whereas this Cort: is Informed that Anne Cunbarke had
bore a Bastard Chilld the Sd: Anne appeares before
the board & Acknowledgeth her fact; whereupon
the Cort: ordd: that the said Anne for her fact be whipt
or else pay five hundred pounds of tobacco as alsoe that
She give in Security for her good behaviour; William
ffurnis appeares before the board & Acknowledgeth him
Selfe to be Security for y Sd: Anne Cunbarbe fine of
five hundred pounds of tobacco ~ ~ ~
Wm: ffurnis & Anne Cunbarke appeares before y board
& there doth Acknowledge themselves Jointly & Severally
there or either of their heires executors & admrs: to Stand
indebted to y Rt: honble: the Lord Proprietary & to his heires
Lords & Proprietaryes in the full & Just summe of twenty
pounds Sterl. money of England to be paid to y said
Lord Proprietary or to his heires Lords & Proprietaries
or Certaine Attorney Allwayes provided that if the
said Anne Cunbarbe doe well truly & faithfull keepe
his Lopps: peace & not in any wise misbehave herselfe
but observe & obey the Lawes established then this
Acknowledgement to be void & of none effect otherwise
to Stand in full force power & virtue ; / ;
