122 Commissioner mr: Smith made answer it was against the
Law of England and Consequently Against the Lawes of
this Province; and therefore coulld not nor woulld not
Sett at that time; whereupon there was no Cort: there being
never another Commissioner that day that did appeare of
the Quorum; And thereupon late in the Afternoon the
Sherrife proclaimed A Cort: on Thursday to be helld the 23th
of this present month of March ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

14th: March 1670
This Day Christopher Nutter appeared with his Servants John
English and Elizabeth Williams intending to have had there
ages Judge by the Cort: there being no Cort: desired that there
appearance that soe he might be recorded that soe he might
not Lose his priviledge granted by Act of Assembly in such Cases.

This Day the banes of matrimoney were published betweene
George Hamblin and Margarett Pepper both of this County ~
Certificate the 5th: of Aprill 1671 ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

This Day Edward Hosford putt up his hame at the Cort:
house of his intention for goeing out of this Province
mr: Randall Revell under writt the said writing & Saith
that he Standeth ingaged to him for misdeameaning himself
in his house having had two bastard Chilldren borne of his
servt: Anne Carve & hath made no Satisfacon for the same
