Maryland, have an excellent opportunity to increase your present
overseas business, or if not already engaged, to seriously consider
entering this field. You will be addressed by experts in the govern-
ment and from industry, and I feel sure that the information you
receive today will be beneficial not only to the plans of your individual
companies but to our State as well.

This conference has been called today to give you the experience
of the McCormick & Company in its successful export and import
procedures. The other two panel members are experts of the Depart-
ment of Commerce and the Department of Agriculture who will brief
you on information available through these government agencies for
finding markets and sources of supply.

I wish you well in this meeting and sincerely hope that through
the efforts initiated here today a brighter future will evolve for all
of you.

Bank at the time that the charter was granted and that Mr. Wyvill
has been serving as Vice-President and Treasurer for a similar period

of us are gathered here today to dedicate the fine new facilities for
the Waldorf Bank is because of the work of these two men and their
