PROCEEDINGS OF THE CONVENTION. [1776. tion be printed, and two copies be transmitted to each of the mem- bers of this convention. Resolved, That this convention adjourn to the twenty-eighth day of this instant, and the council of safety may, if they think proper, call the convention to meet before that day. And that the said council of safety be and are fully empowered to take and pursue all measures that they shall think necessary or proper for raising, com- pleting, and equipping the eight battalions resolved by this conven- tion to be raised for the, continental service, agreeable to the re- solves of this convention.
