us and in our name agt Gabriel Parrott of Annarundell County Merch' Mani-
fest Error as 'tis Said has happened to the Great Damage of the Said Gabriel
as of his Complaint we have received We Willing that the Error (if any there
be) Should in due manner be Corrected and full and Speedy Justice done
to Each of the Said partys in this behalfe Do Command you That the Record,
and Process of the prosecution and Judgmt aforesaid together with all things
Relating to the Same before our Govr and Councill of this our Province att
their next Sitting to hear Appeals and Writts of Error on the Twenty Eighth
Day of June next under your hands and Seales Distinctly and Openly you
Send, that Inspection being thereunto had we may Cause to be done what
According to Right and the Laws and Customs of our Kingdom of England
and of this our Province ought to be done in the Premisses Hereof you are
not to faile Wittness our Selfe att Annapolis in Annarundell County afore-
said the 13th day of May in the 11th Year of our Reigne Annoque Dni 1699

MARYLAND ss. In the Records of the Provinciall Court amongst other
therein it is thus Conteined.

Att a Provinciall Court held att the porte of Annapolis the 19th day of
November in the Tenth year of the reigne of King William the third of
England etc. Annoque Dni 1698 before their Matys Justices thereunto Au-
thorized and Appointed.

The Honble Robert Smith Esqr President; Majr Jno Hammond; Capt Richard
Hill: Capt Thomas Tasker; Capt John Hawkins.

[149] Command was Given to the Sherriffe of Annarundell County That
he take Gabriel Parrott late of Annarundell County Merch' if found in his
Bailywick and him Safe keep So that he have his Body before the Justices
of the Provinciall Court to be held att the Porte of Annapolis the Second
Tuesday of May next to Answer unto our Sovereigne Lord King Willm the
third of England etc. for a Certein Perjury for which he is by the Grand Jury
of this Province prosecuted hereof faile not att your perill and have you
then there this Writt Wittness Robert Smith Esqr Chief Justice of the Said
Court the 19th Day of November in the Tenth Year of his Said Matys Reigne
Annoque Dni 1699.

Att which Said next Provinciall Court to witt the 9th day of May in the
nth Year of his Said Matys Reigne Annoque Dni 1699 Came the Said Sher-
riffe and made returne of his Said Writt in these Words following Vizt Cepi
Corpus per me Richard Beard Sherriffe.
