Afterw^ds to Witt on the thirty first Day of May Anno Dom Seventeen
hundred and Twenty Six before his Lordships Court of Appeals and Errors
at the City of Annapolis Comes the Said Thomas Cockey by Michael Macne-
mara his Attorney and the Said Thomas Cockey Saith that in the Record
process and in rendering the Judgment it is apparently Erred. It is Erred in
this that the Judgment af^d is rendered for the Said Thomas Bordley Against
the Said Thomas Cockey whereas by the Law of the Land Judgment ought
to have been rendered for the Said Cockey Against the Said Bordley For
which and many other Errors as well in the Record and process as in the
rendring of Judgment af^d the Said Cockey prays that the Judgment af^d may
be reversed and held as (Vicious) and [673] that he to all he thereby lost
may be restored etc.

On Which Said thirty first Day of May af^d Before his Said Lordships
Court of Appeals and Errors at the City af^d Comes Likewise the Said Thomas
Bordley in his own proper person and Saith that Neither in the Record nor
in the process af^d nor in the rendering the Judgment af^d it is in any thing
Erred and prays that the Court of the Lord Proprietor here may proceed as
well to Examine the Record and Process af^d as the matter af^d above for Error
Assigned and that the Judgment af^d and that the Judgment af^d [sic] may in
all things be Affirmed

And the Said Thomas Cockey prays it may be enquired into Likewise

But because his Said Lordships Court of Appeals now here of rendering
their Judgment of and upon the premisses are not yet advised day is thereof
given to the parties af^d Before his Lordships Governour and Council af^d un-
till the first Thursday of June Next being the Second Day of the Same Month
to hear their Judgment of and upon the premisses for that his Said Lordships
Court and Errors now here thereof are not as yet advised. At Which Said
first Thursday of June Anno Dom 1726 Before his Said Lordships Governour
and Council Sitting as a Court of Appeals and Errors at the City of Annapolis
af^d Comes as well the Said Thomas Cockey by his Attorney af^d as the Said
Thomas Bordley in his proper person. Whereupon as well the Record and
process af^d and the Judgment thereon Rendered as the af^d matter for Error
Assigned by the Said Thomas Cockey by the Court here being Seen and
fully understood and Mature Deliberation being thereupon had it Seems to
his Said Lordships Court now here that neither in the Record nor process
