M^r W^m Sharpes Petition ab* his Supersedeas etc: Read and debated.

M^r W^m Sharp of Talbot County, having p^rsented his humble Petition to
this Hon^rble Court, setting forth that being in Custody of the Sherriff of Ann
Arrundell County (notwithstanding a Supersedeas issued) he was illegally
detain'd, therefore prayed Some Relief therein that he might be dismissed
etc: w^oh s^d Petition being Referred to M^r Sollicito^r Gen^ll and his Report
thereon likewise produced, he is further asked what legall or proper Course
could be taken The Counsell for M^r Sharp being p^rsent do humbly Move
that they may be admitted and have time till to Morrow Morning to prepare
themselves to argue the s^d Case, not doubting but that they Should (by good
authoritye) prove the illegality of his detainer, the w^oh was accordingly
Granted.

The Court Adjourns till to Morrow Morning.
