At Which said first tuesday of September to witt the Seaventh day of the
same Month Annoque Dom 1708 comes the said partys by their Attorneys
aforesaid as the said Sherriff and Surveyor who makes returne of their said
Warrant to them directed as aforesaid as follows Vizt

MARYLAND ss. By Vertue of A Speciall Warrant from this Honoble
Court bearing date the Ninth day of July last for the resurvey and laying out
of A tract of land calld Marshy point lying in Talbot County aforesaid
This may humbly certifie that I have in presence of the Sherr of the
said County and according to the claims and pretentions of the plantiff in
presence of the defendant Resurveyd and laid out the aforesaid land calld
Marshy Point lying in the said County in A Creek calld Treadhaven Creek
Beginning at a bounded Cedar tree standing on A point on the South side
of the said Creek and running thence up the said Creek North Eighty de-
grees Easterly four hundred and Nine perches to an old bounded Stump on
A Marshy point at the mouth of A branch calld Addam branch the said
Stump being now washt down the bank and allmost decayed supposed by the
Plantiff to have been the Second bound tree of the said land and runing
thence up the said branch South South east Three hundred and twenty
perches then West Three hundred and fifty perches and from thence with
a Strait line to the first bounded tree containing Six hundred and forty Acres
described in the platt by black Lines.
[1681 I do also Certify that I have in the presence of the Sherr aforsd and
according to the claims and pretences of the defendant in presence of the
plantiff Resurveyd and laid out A tract of land calld Hambleton neck Begin-
ning at an old bounded Oak Stump Standing on A long point calld Hamble-
tons point at the Mouth of parrotts branch Supposd by the Defendant to
have been the first bounded tree of the said Hambletons neck and runing
from the said Stump North by West Sixteen perches then North and by East
Twenty Eight perches then North North west thirty Six perches then North
east and by East Forty four perches then North thirty Six perches then then
[sic] North west and by North Forty perches then North east and by East
Seaventy perches then north east Twenty four perches then North east and
by North thirty Six perches then South east twenty four perches then South
east and by east twelve perches then east North East twenty perches then
North North West thirty Six perches then North east Twelve perches then
North North west thirty Six perches then South east forty four perches
then east South east Fifty perches then east North east Thirty two perches
then West Forty four perches then North north west twenty perches then
West North west Forty perches then North Sixty four degrees Westerly
