Maties Councill held at Ann Arrundell Towne in Ann Arrundell County
(constituted for hearing Appeals and Writts of Error) the 16th day of May
in the Seventh Year of the Reign of our Soveraign Lord and Lady King Wil-
liam and Qeen Mary Annoque Domi 1695. etc.

Present: His Exncy Francis Nicholson Esqr Capt Genll and Govr in Ch[ief];
The Honrble Coll: George Robotham; Coll: Charles Hutchins; Coll: David
Brown; Coll: John Addison; Thomas Brooke Esqr.
Henry Denton being admitted Clerk of the Said Honrble Court had
administered] unto him the Oath's appointed by Act of Parliamt to be taken
in Stead of the Oa[th] of Allegiance and Supremacy and Subscribed to the
Test and at the Same time to[ok] the Following Oath, vizt
[O]ath taken by the Clk of [the] Court.
[2] You as Clk or Regr of this Honrble Court Shall make just and true entry
of all Such Judgements orders decrees Rules process or proceedings that
Shall be adjudged Ordered decreed Ruled or proceeded in by and before
their Majesties Most Honrble Judges of the Same Court and a just true fair
Record you Shall duely and truly make or cause to be made thereof you
Shall doe noe falsehood nor consent to any to be done in the Court and if
you know of any you Shall Informe his Exncy the Governr or other Judge
of the Same Court that it may be reformed you Shall delay no Man that has
to do with You in Yor Said Office Either for Envy hatred or hopes of gain
you Shall increase noe Fees but be Content with the fees Limitted or to be
Limitted by Law or the Order of the Court and finally you Shall well and
faithfully Execute the Office of Clerke or Register of this Honrble Court
