A D V E R T I S
E M E N T.
Upon an accurate Examination of the foregoing Edition,
a considerable Number of Errors have been
discovered; the most material of which (either as obscuring
the Sense, or misguiding by References
relative to Acts now in being) are noted in the following
List. Some few of these appear to be Errors of the
Printer, and others owing to Mistakes in the Manuscript
(chiefly in the References) which had escaped Observation
before the Copy was sent down, and by the Editor's Distance
from the Press rendered irremediable.
Some other Errors will appear to the judicious Reader
which are neither to be attributed to the Printer nor Editor,
being Faults in the Original Acts, or remaining Records,
and were necessary to be so printed in Compliance
with the Attestation upon Oath which stands at the Conclusion
of the Year 1762. These are distinguished
in the following List by an Asterisk, or this Mark (*),
prefixed.
