    N.B.  This Edward Husbands, being charged with an Attempt to poison the Governor, and
the Upper and Lower Houses of this Assembly, was by this Act utterly disabled, and made incapable
of ever practicing in his Profession as a Physician or Chirugeon within this Province, under
Penalty of 200 l. Sterling, for every Time he should presume to practice as aforesaid; and also
to be bound over to the next Provincial Court, to answer the Premises, and in the mean Time
to be of good Behaviour, &c.  And for his Menacing and Cursing the Assembly, to receive 20
Lashes on the bare Back, by the Hands of the common Hangman, &c.
    Memorandum.  His Lordship's Proclamation of Dissent to all and every Act and Acts of Assembly,
made in this Year, such only excepted as his Lordship (since his Arrival here) by his Assent
in a General Assembly, had continued, confirmed, or revived which are also to stand continued
or revived to all Intents, &c. is dated the 5th May 1684.  C. O. fol. 101.
