1763.
by the Court wherein the Action shall be commenced, in the same manner
as is above in this Act provided in such Cases, wherein any Security hath
been, or shall be taken, for the Payment of Money instead of Tobacco.

    CXXIX.  And be it further Enacted, That the Inspector at Plymouth Warehouse,
in Dorchester County, shall not be obliged to attend at the said Warehouse
more than Three Days in a Week, between the first Day of April and
the last Day of July yearly; and the Inspector at the Warehouse at John Holland's
on Bohemia, more than Three Days in each Week, at the said Warehouse,
from the first Day of April, 'til the last Day of July Yearly; and the
Inspector at Annapolis Warehouse shall not be obliged to attend more than
Three Days in each Week at the said Warehouse, between the First Day of
April, and the last Day of July yearly; and the Warehouse on Hopewell's
Land, in St. Mary's County more than Four Days in each Week, at said
Warehouse, between the first Day of April and the last Day of July yearly;
and the Inspectors at Chester-Town, in Kent County, more than Four Days
in each Week; the Inspectors at Worton, more than One Day in each Week;
the Inspectors at Langford's Bay, more than Two Days in each Week; the
Inspectors at Tovey's Warehouse, more than Two Days in each Week; the
Inspector at the North-West Fork Warehouse, at the Bridge in Dorchester
County, more than Three Days in a Week; the Inspector at Broad Creek
more than Two Days in a Week; the Inspector at Snow-Hill Warehouse, and
Newport Warehouse, in Worcester County, more than Four Days in a Week;
the Inspectors at Wells's Warehouse, Charles Brown's Warehouse, and Bridge-Town
Warehouse, in Queen Anne's County, shall not be obliged to attend more
than Four Days, viz. on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday in
every Week; and the Inspectors of George-Town and Frederick-Town Warehouses
shall be obliged to attend on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays at
George-Town, and on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at Frederick-Town,
in every Week, between the first Day of April, and the last Day of July yearly.

    CXXX.  And be it further Enacted, That every Inspector and Inspectors, in
any Inspection House within this Province, shall, and they are hereby obliged
and directed, immediately after the Conclusion of the respective Inspections,
and Prizing, yearly, carefully to take down the Scales, Ropes, and Blocks,
belonging to the several and respective Houses, and lay up the same, with the
Weights, carefully, in some Part of the respective Houses, and preserve the
same from Damage; and if any Inspector or Inspectors shall neglect to take
down and lay up the Blocks, Ropes, Scales, and Weights, as aforesaid, immediately
after they have finished Prizing, shall forfeit and pay, to the Right
Honourable the Lord Proprietary, to the Uses in this Act before directed,
the Sum of Eight Hundred Pounds of Tobacco; to be recovered before
One Magistrate of the County where such Offence shall be committed, One
Half to the Informer, and the other Half to the Use of the County aforesaid,
to be applied to defray the Charge of such County, accruing on the carrying 
this Act into due Execution.

    CXXXI.  And to prevent any Person or Persons whatsoever, from making
Sale of trashy and unmerchantable Tobacco, Be it further Enacted, That
from and after the First Day of December next ensuing, it shall not be lawful
for any Person or Persons, on any Pretence whatsoever, to buy, barter for,
purchase, or take into his, her, or their Possession, or to sell, or even offer
to sale, either directly or indirectly, any trashy or unmerchantable Tobacco,
either loose, or in Hands, in Bundle, Bulk, Parcel, Case, Hogshead, or other
Package whatsoever, except such Tobacco as hath been heretofore lodged
in any Inspecting House, (or House or Houses used by Inspectors) in
pursuance of any former Law, under the Penalty of Four Pounds of Tobacco
for every Pound of Tobacco so bought, bartered for, purchased, taken
into his, her, or their Possession, sold, or offered to sale, as aforesaid, to be
