An Act for the Relief of Philip Cazear, a languishing Prisoner in Cæcil County
    Goal.   Lib.

CHAP. XIX.
An act to enable the Rector and Vestry-men of Great-Choptank Parish, in Dorchester
    County, to Lease some Land belonging to the said Parish, unimproved.

By this Act the Rector and Vestry-men are impowered to Lease, Demise, and to Farm
Let, any Part or Quantity of Land reserved for the Use of the Parish Church, in the Town of
Cambridge, unimproved, not exceeding One acre and a Half, be Deed Indented under the

Hands and Seals of the said Rector and Vestry-men, fort he Time being, or the major Part of
them, &c., for any Term, not exceeding Twenty-one Years, of Three Lives; and also, on the
Expiration of the said Term, to grant new Leases for the Premises for the like Term:  The
yearly Rents, &c. of the said ;land to belong, and be applied to the Use and Benefit of the
Rector, for the Time being, and to no other use.  And in all such Leases, a Clause to be inserted,
obliging the Lessees to build a Brick or Stone Chimney to every of the Buildings erected
on the said Land, where Fire is to be used; and that no Fire shall be made or kept in any
wooden Chimneys, on any Part of the Premises, otherwise the Leases to be void.

CHAP. XX.
An Act continuing an Act, entitled, An Act for the speedy and effectual Publication
    of the laws of this Province, and for the Encouragement of
Jonas
    Green, of the City of Annapolis, Printer.  Lib. B.L.C.  fol. 501.  EXP.

CHAP. XXI.
An Act to enable the Justices of Frederick County, to levy a Sum of Money on
    the Taxable Inhabitants of All-Faith's Parish in the said County; and for
    the building a
Chapel of Ease in King and Queen Parish in St. Mary's
    County; and for other Purposes therein mentioned.  Lib. B.L.C.  fol. 501.
   
Viz.  100 l. Currency, for finishing the Parish Church in Frederick-Town, and the Minister of
the said Parish to perform Divine Service, &c. at the said Parish Church, and at each of the two
Chapels of Ease belonging to the said Parish, on every Third Sunday.
   
A Misnomer, the Name of the Parish being All-Saints Parish.  See 1742, ch. 18.
   
The Incumbent to officiate at the said Chapel, when built, every Third Sunday.

An Act to encourage the destroying of Squirrels and Crows in the several Counties
    therein mentioned.  Lib.

CHAP. XXIII.
An Act impowering the Rector, Vestry-men and Church-wardens of Queen-Caroline
    Parish, in Anne-Arundel County, fort the Time being, to purchase One
    Acre of Land, and thereon to build a Chapel of Ease in the said Parish; and

    to impower the Justices of the said County, to levy on the Taxable Inhabitants
    of the said Parish, the Sum of Twelve Pence Current Money, Yearly, by three
    annual Assessments, fort the Uses therein mentioned.  Lib.

CHAP. XXV.
A Supplementary ACT to the Act, entitled, * An Act ascertaining
    the Height of Fences, to prevent the Evil occasioned by the
    Multitude of Horses, and restraining Horse-Rangers within this
    Province; and to redress the great Evil accruing to this Province
    by the Multiplicity of useless Horses, Mares, and Colts,

    that run in the Woods.  Lib. B.L.C.  fol. 507.

WHEREAS it is Enacted by the above recited Act, " That whenever
any Horse, mare, or Gelding, shall break into any Cornfield,
" or other field, or other inclosure, and the owner be not known, that
" then and in all such Cases, of shall and may be lawful for the Party grieved,
" to take up such Horse, Mare, or Gelding, so trespassing, and the same to
" carry before the next Magistrate, who shall be obliged to take an Account
Preamble/
