In compliance with an order of the Convention, I
herewith transmit a statement of the amounts levied and
paid to the Clerks of the Circuit Court from the year 1858 ;
previous to that levy the papers of the Commissioners' Of-
fice were destroyed by fire, consequently I cannot give the
amounts for 1852, '53, '54, '55, '56 and '57:
