PROCEEDINGS
IN COMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE.
Tuesday, August 13, 1867
The Committee met.
Mr. Dent in the Chair.
The Committee resumed the consideration of the unfinish-
ed business of yesterday, being the Report of the Committee
upon Public Works and Corporations, title, Article—Public
Works.
The question recurring upon the motion submitted by Mr.
Syester, to strike out Section 3,
Pending which,
Mr. Walsli moved that the Committee now rise, and re-
port that they have had under consideration the Report of
the Committee upon Public Works and Cor porations title,
Article—Public Works, have made some progress therein,
but have come to no conclusion thereon, and ask leave to sit
again ;
Which was decided in the affirmative.
The Committee then rose.
