The vote by which the blanks in line 10 were ordered
to be filled with the words " Wednesday, twenty-fifth Sep-
tember," was reconsidered,
Mr. Carter submitted the following amendment:
Strike out the words "twenty-fifth September," and in-
sert the words "eighteenth of September ;"
Which was adopted.
Mr. Carter submitted the following amendment:
Fill the blanks in line 32 with the words " Saturday, fifth
October ;"
I Which, was adopted.
Mr. Carter submitted the following amendment:
Insert after the word "Delegates," in line 25, the words
and " duplicates thereof directly to the Governor ;"
Which was adopted.
The Report, as amended, was then read a second time, and
ordered to be engrossed for a third reading.
On motion of Mr. Merryman,
At 2 o'clock, P. M., the Convention adjourned until Mon-
day next, at 10 o'clock, A. M.
