Mr. Giddings gave notice, that at some future day he
would move a reconsideration of the vote by which the
Report of the Committee upon Labor and Agriculture was
rejected.
The Convention then proceeded to the consideration of
the Report of the Committee upon Education, said Report
being upon a third reading ;
Pending which,
Mr. Lee, Chairman Committee upon Revision and Com-
pilation, submitted the following
REPORT.
The Committee on Revision and Compilation, to which
was referred the Engrossed Report upon Education, has re-
vised the same, and report it without amendment.

Which was read and concurred in.
The reading of the Report was then proceeded with ;
Pending which,
Mr. Rider moved that the Report be opened for amend-
ment, to enable him to submit the following :
"The system which shall he provided by the General
Assembly, shall supersede the present system."
The question being on concurring in the motion,
Mr. Rider demanded the yeas and nays.
