The Convention met.
Prayer by Rev, Mr. Henderson.
Present at the call of the roll the following members :

Farnandis, Ferry, Finley, Flaherty, Ford, Galt, Garey,

The proceedings of yesterday were read and approved.
Mr. Johnson submitted the following order :
Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Mar-
bury is detained from his seat by severe indisposition;
Which was adopted,
Mr. Hollyday submitted the following order :
Ordered, That it be entered on the Journal that Mr. Golds-
borough, of Talbot, is detained from his seat by sickness in
his family;
Which was adopted.
Mr. Rider submitted the following order:
Ordered, That the Report of the Committee upon the For-
mation oi' a New County out of portions of Somerset and Wor-
cester counties be made the special order of the day for to-
morrow, (Thursday,) at 12 o'clock, M. ;
Which was adopted.
