The report of the Committee, as amended, was then read
a second time and ordered to be engrossed for a third read-
ing.
On motion of Mr. Barry,
The Convention resolved itself into Committee of the
Whole, to consider the Report of the Committee upon Edu-
cation, with pending amendments,
Mr. Jones in the chair.
After some time spent in the Committee of the Whole, the
Committee rose.
The President resumed the chair—and,
Through Mr. Jones, Chairman—reported,
That they had bad under consideration the Report of the
Committee upon Education, with pending amendments; had
made some progress thereon, and asked to be discharged
from the further consideration thereof.
The Report was adopted,
And the Committee discharged.
