So the amendment was rejected.
The question then recurring upon the motion to adjourn,
Mr. Tarr withdrew it to enable Mr. Dent to ask leave of
absence for one week from the sessions of the Convention;
Which was granted.
On motion,
Leave of absence was also granted to Messrs. Page, Mitch-
ell, Parker, and Brewer, of Baltimore city.
On motion of Mr. Carter,
The Convention at 3J o'clock, P. M., adjourned.
