Friday 13th. March 1789

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the Eastern shore Treasurer pay to Jeremiah Banning Armourer at Easton
in Talbot County Fifty pounds Current Money on Account of his Salary, and expenditures
for the repairs of Arms to be accounted for.

In Council March 13th. 1789

Colo. Jeremiah Banning Armourer in Talbot County is hereby authorized to demand and
receive all public Arms and Military Stores in the hands of the inhabitants of the said County
agreeably to An Act of Assembly passed at November Session 1785

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Saturday 14th. March 1789

The Council met.

Present as on yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Hindman Esqr. thirty seven
pounds, ten shillings Current Money for one quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council.

That the said Treasurer pay to William Hughlett Six pounds for his detention in
January last, and delivering Letters to Queen Anns, Kent, Caecil and Caroline Counties
respecting the Election of Electors and Representatives allowed him by the Board.

The Council adjourned 'till Monday morning.
