Wednesday 6th. November 1793

The Council met.

Present as on Yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Harwood Eighteen pounds,
fifteen shillings for one quarter's salary as Clerk of the House of Delegates due the 1st instant,
[p. 283] Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Colo. John H Stone Forty
two pounds, three shillings and nine pence for three Months half pay due the 1st instant,

That the said Treasurer pay to Robert Denny Fifty pounds for one quarter's salary as
Auditor due the 1st instant.

Louis Bellvill formerly a subject of France, appeared before the Board and voluntarily
made repeated and Subscribed a Declaration of his Belief in the Christian Relegion [sic],
and also took repeated and Subscribed the Oath prescribed by the "Act for Naturalization"
wherefore he is now become a Subject of this State.

Monday nth. November 1793

The Council met.

Mr Kilty
Mr Davidson
Mr Pinkney

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Shaw Thirty seven pounds ten
shillings Current Money to be applied to the purchase of Wood or other Contingent Services
in which he is employed.
