bound in a Recognizance to appear at the Court to be held at Princess Anne Town, and to
attend the same from Day to Day until legally discharged to answer for killing a Deer
contrary to Law, that he did appear at the said Court and did attend the same for several
Days when he returned home to see his wife whom he left very sick, that he on his return
found her so ill he could not leave her and that during his absence his recognizance was
forfeited, that an Execution has issued against him for the forfeited Recognizance being ten
pounds and that he is now in Custody for the same. He also represents that he is very poor
and has a large family that must suffer without his daily assistance and that he is not able to
pay the same. John Done the Chief Justice of the District and one of the Associates having
certified their belief of the facts stated in the Petition. The Board in consideration of all
circumstances do direct that the said forfeited Recognizance of ten pounds be remitted upon
payment of all Costs.

The Auditor is requested to issue Certificates for the Depreciation of pay to William
Spalding late a soldier in the first Maryland Regiment and to Benjamin Kidwell late a
soldier in the third Maryland Regiment, and deliver the same to the Treasurer of the western
shore, who is Ordered to pay them as follows—the one issued in the Name of William
Spalding, to Philip Spalding Brother and Administrator of the said William, and the other
issued in the Name of Benjamin Kidwell to Benjamin Kidwell Father and Administrator of
the said Benjamin.

The Auditor is requested to issue Certificates for Depreciation of pay to Tgnatius Martin,
and Moses McNew late soldiers in the first Maryland Regiment, and deliver the same to the
Treasurer of the western shore who is Ordered to pay them to the following, the one to
Michael Martin Brother and Administrator of Ign's Martin and the other to Ruth Marlow
Admin'r of Moses McNew.
[p. 118] Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to James Brice Esq'r. Thirty
seven pounds, ten shillings for one quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council,
That the said Treasurer pay to John Davidson Esq'r. Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings
for one quarter's Salary as aforesaid,
That the said Treasurer pay to Colo. John H. Stone Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings
for one quarter's Salary as aforesaid,
That the said Treasurer pay to the said Colo. Stone Forty two pounds three shillings
and nine pence for three months half pay due him the first instant,
That the said Treasurer pay to Frederick Green Three hundred and thirty seven pounds,
ten shillings for three quarter's Salary as printer to the State due the 1st. instant,
