Resolved that this State will allow and pay to the said John Wright at the rate of three
hundred pounds per Annum during such time as Mr. Richmond's State of health and the
public Service require his acting.

Saturday 21. January 1792

The Council met.

Present as on yesterday.

Commission issued to William Harwood, Alien Quynn and Nicholas Worthington ap-
pointed Justices of the Orphans Court for Ann Arundel County [p. 34] Commission
issued to Nicholas Worthington, Elijah Robosson, Samuel Harrison, Alien Quynn, Samuel
Harrison of Rich'd, Richard Harrison, Thomas Tongue, John Brice, Richard Harwood,
William Hall 3d., James Disney, Charles Alexander Warfield, James Kelso, John Sprigg
Belt, Thomas Cole, Thomas Hobbs, Dorsey Jacobs, Samuel Godman, Henry Ridgely of
Henry, John Randall and James Mackubin appointed Justices of the Peace for Ann Arundel
County.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Gassaway Seven pounds, ten
shillings allowed him by this Board for his extra trouble in transcribing canceling and com-
pleting the General Alphabet of the late Prerogative Office.

Monday 30. January 1792

The Council met.
Present Mr. Brice

Mr. Ridgely

Mr. Davidson

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to William Caton Two pounds, eleven
shillings due him per Account passed by the Auditor.

This being the Day appointed for taking into Consideration the Charges exhibited by
Leonard Belt against Henry Lammot a Justice of Balto. County and neither of the Parties
appearing the same is postponed without a day.

[p. 35] Wednesday 1st. February 1792

The Council met.

Present as on Monday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jacob Marshall Three pounds ten
shillings Current Money for the like sum paid by him for two Warrants obtained out of the
land Office to effect [sic] Land lying within the reserves in Baltimore County,

That the said Treasurer pay to John Davidson Esq'r. Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings
for one quarter's salary as a Member of the Council,

That the said Treasurer pay to James Brice Esq'r. Thirty seven pounds, ten shillings for
one quarter's Salary as a Member of the Council,

That the said Treasurer pay to Jubb Fowler Eighteen pounds, fifteen shillings for one
Quarter's Salary as Messenger to the Council and Keeper of the Stadt House due this day.
