Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Jubb Fowler Ten pounds, three

shillings and six pence due him per Account passed.
The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Elisha Berry and Zachariah Berry dated 12th. instant.

The Council met.

Present as on yesterday.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to Henry Ridgely Seven pounds, ten
shillings for one quarter's Salary as Clerk of the Senate due the 1st. May last.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Callahan Fifty pounds Current
Money in advance for transcribing the general Alphabet &ca. of the land office, to be
Accounted for.

State of Maryland

In Council July 27. 1791

James Barry Esqr. having produced to the Board an instrument under the hand and
seal of the President of the United States recognizing him as vice Consul for her most
faithfull Majesty the Queen of Portugal within the States of Maryland and Virginia; Ordered
that the said Recognition be published for the information and government of the Citizens of
this State
