132 "Journal of the Council"

Thomas Sancton and Andrew White formerly Subjects of the King of Great Britain,
appeared before the Board and Voluntarily made repeated, and subscribed a declaration of their
belief in the Christian Relegion, and also took, repeated and subscribed the Oath prescribed by
the "Act of Naturalization" wherefore they are now become subjects of this State.

The Council adjourned 'till tomorrow morning.

Wednesday 18th. August 1790

The Hon'ble. John Davidson and

Randolph B. Latimer Esqrs. attended.

[p. 212] Thursday 19th. August 1790

The Council met.

Present. The Hon'ble. James Brice

John Davidson

Rand. B. Latimer Esquires

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Wilmot nine pounds, three shil-
lings and ten pence for going express to the Clerk of the Eastern shore General Court with the
Bonds of the public Debtors per Account passed by the Auditor.

The Council adjourned till tomorrow morning.

Ordered that the western shore Treasurer pay to John Randall Thirty four pounds,
eighteen shillings and six pence for sundries furnished Thomas Walley per Account passed by
his Excellency the Governor.
