338       Provincial Court Proceedings, 1683.

     Liber W. C. On seaven and twentyeth day of March Cot! William
                 Chandler Sheriffe of the County aforesaid made returne of the
                 writ aforesaid that by vertue thereof hee tooke the said Thomas
                 Marshall but could not have his body here as he was required by
                 reason he hath broke the Prisson of the County and ified:

                   agt peares and Imparles untill the next Provinciall
                Thomas Courtney Court:

                Robert   Yeates & Wm Jones Comand was given to the sheriffe of
                     agt Talbott County that he take Thomas
                 Thomas VaughanVaughan If he should be found in his
                 baliwick & him safe keepe soe that he
                 should have his body here the Seaven and twentyeth day of March
                 in the Eighth yeare of the Dominion of the Right honoble Charles
                 Lord Baltemore &c Annooj Doni 1683 to satisfy unto Robert Yeates
                 and William Jones of Bristoll in the Kingdome of England aswell
                 the sume of three thousand foure hundred pounds of tobacco a
                 certaine Debt recovered against him at a Provinciall Court held at
                 the Citty of st Maries the thirteenth day of October Annoq Doni
                 1682 whereof he is Convict as also the sume of Six hundred twenty
                 seaven pounds of tobacco for Costs of suite
                  On wch said seaven and twentyeth Day of March Capt Jonathan
                 Sybrey sheriffe of the County aforesaid made returne of the writ
                 aforesaid that the same is Satisfyed unto W Anthony Underwood

                The Same The same Execution Issued for the same Debt and the
                   agt same Costs & the same returne made by Jonathan Sybrey
