Charles Absolute Lord and Propry of the Provinces of Maryland
and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltemore &c To the Sheriffe of this
County to Comand you to take the body of William Perfitt if hee
may be found within your Baliwick and him in safe Custody keepe
soe that you may have his body before his Lopps Justices att the
next Court to bee held in this County on the Twelfth day of Novem-
ber next to answere unto Garret Vanswearen in a plea that hee
Render unto him Two hundred Twenty five pounds of Tobacco wch
to him hee oweth and unjustly Detaineth, Hereof faile not and have
you there this writt. Given undr the seale of the County this nine-
teenth day of October in the third yeare of his Lopps Dominion &c
