Comand was given to the Coroner of Cecil County,
that whereas itt was formerly comanded the Sher-
iffe of the same County that he take George Old-
field & Petronella his wife Execx of the last Will
|

& Testamt of John Carr deceased if they should be found in his
bailwick, & them safe to keep so that he should have their bodyes
here the fourth day of Decembr Anno Doni 1677 to answer unto
Edward Pynn in a plea of trespas upon the case which said fourth
day of Decembr in which the said Court ought to have bin held was
by his Lordpps writt of Adjournmt Adjourned untill the filth day
of the same Decembr And from the said fifth day untill the sixth
day of the same month, And from the said sixth day of December
was by his Lordpps Writt of Adjournmt further Adjourned untill
the thirteenth day of ffebruary then next following. On which said
thirteenth day of ffebruary Jonathan Sibrey Sheriffe of Cecil County
made returne of the writt aforesaid, that by Vertue thereof he had
taken the said George Oldfield and Petronella his wife whose bodyes
he had att the tyme & place as by the same writt he was comanded
On which said thirteenth day of ffebruary & att a Provintiall Court
held the ninth day of April Anno Doni 1678. & on the Eleaventh
day of June then next following the said Jonathan Sibrey being
solemnly called & the said George Oldfield & Petronella his wife like-
