The Cort doe ordr the Defendt Shapleigh to pay unto the said Liber M M Samuell Lane the sume of Two hundred and Tenne pounds of Tobacco for his Charges, the Cort allowing him 30l of Tob p day, and allowed him for coming retorning & staying to attend seaven Dayes wch at 301 Tob p day amounts to the said suth of Two hundred & Tenn pounds of Tob. agt Richard Ladd Richard Ladd upon a scirce fac out of Chancery ordered that the Defendt put in his plea in Two dayes after the Cort or Judgemt to be awarded agt him by Default the said Defendt filed his plea accordingly.
