Then did Abraham Roades Tender Capt John ffitzherbert & Liber J J
Mr Thomas Courtney to the Cort for Bayle who accepted thereof.
Then did the sd Abraham Roades acknowledge a Recognizance
to the Right hono :ble the Lord Proprietary in the sume of One
hundred pounds sterling to be leavyed &c & then did also ye sd John
ffitzherbert & Thomas Courtney acknowledge a Recognizance to the
Right hono :ble the Lord Proprietary in the sume of fifty pounds
sterling a peice to be leavyed of their Respective goods and Chattels p.: 524
Lands and Tenemts upon Condition that if the said Abraham Roades [i.e., p.520 ]
and ifrances his wife shall be and appeare at St Maryes the next
Provincial Cort before his LoPPs Justices then prsent & not Dept
the Cort without lycense and in the meane time to be of good be
haviour then the said Recognizances to be voyd and of none Effect
otherwayes to Remaine in force.
Ven fac to the Sheriff of Calt County to Cause Thomas Sprigg
Robert Tyler and to appear next Cort about a wolfes head
Ven fac to the Sheriff of Ann Arundell County to Cause Richard
George Puddington Thomas Beson and Robert ifranklyn
and John appeare the next Cort to answere &c.
The Cort adjourned untill gth Aprill next

the Province of Maryland and Avalon Lord Baron of Baltamore
&c begun the Eleaventh day of ffebruary in the one and Fortieth
yeare of his said Lordshipps Dominion over this Province of Mary
land and in the yeare of our Lord One Thowsand six hundred
Seaventy and Two.

Maryland ss. At a Provincial Court of the Right hono :ble the Lord
Proprietary holden at the Citty of St Maryes on Tuesday the
Eleaventh day of February in the 41th yeare of the Do
minion of his said Lopp over Maryland &c Annoq
Domini 1672 before his Lopps Justices thereunto
assigned and there Continued untill the thir
teenth day of the same February on
said Eleaventh day was prsent.
