Edward Roe agt John Ingram the Same the def appeares by Vincent Lowe his Attorny and agt imparle untill next Court. the Same the Same agt the Same Marke Cordea the def appeares by Jno Quigley his Attorny & agt imparle untill next Count Thomas Pearce Comand was given to the Sheriff of St Maries County that he take John Gerard and Rose Gerard widdow late of St Maries County Executors of the last will & Testa ment of Thomas Gerard Escp deceased if they should be found in his Bailiwick to answer unto Humphry Warren of a plea that they render unto him the Summe of foure thousand & forty and foure pounds of tobacco which from him they unjustly deteine Now here at this day to wit the fourth day of May in the 43th yeare of the Dominion of Caecilius &c Annoq Doth One thousand Six hundred Seventy five the Same Sheriff returneth that the said John and Rose Gerard are not found in his Bailiwick whereupon the Said Humphry Warren by Robert Carvile his Attorny prayed an attachment against the estate of the Said Thomas Gerard deceased and it is granted unto him. |
