       Comănd was Given the Sheriff of St Maries County that he attach Liber M M
       any the Goods and Chattells of Mathias Decosta to the value of
       fourteen hundred sixty eight pounds of tobacco and the same in
       his Custody to Keepe untill the said Mathias should by himsehfe or
       his Attorny appeare here the ninth day of ifebruany in the 43th yeane
       of his Lopps Dominion &c to answer unto Richard Keene of a plea
       that he render unto him the sume of eleven hundred & One pounds
       of tobacco which to him he oweth & unjustly deteineth
         At which said ninth day of ffebruary in the yeare aforesaid the
       said Sheriff maketh returne of the writt aforesaid in these words vizt
          the within named Mathias Decosta is attached by tobacco in
             Capt Quigley's hands.
