304  Provincial Court Proceedings, 1674.




           Liber M M  by the Court to be thirteene yeares of age and prayes the judgment
                  of this Court how long he Shall Serve for the Neglect and when
                  to goe free
                     Ordered by the Court here that the Petitioner serve accordin [g]
                     to the Act in force when he arrived into this Province.

            The Court adjourned untill the 13th of October next.

                    To all Christian People to whom these presents shall Come I
                  Thomas Dent of St Maries County in the Province of Maryland
                  Gent Send Greeting in Our Lord God everlasting Know yee that
                  I the Said Thomas Dent for the Love and affection that I the Said
                  Thomas Dent doe Owe unto Richard Loyd of St Maries County in
                  the Province of Maryland Gent I the Said Thomas Dent have given
                  granted and confirmed and by this present writeing doe give grant
                  and confirme unto the Said Richard Loyd all and Singular those
                  goods chattells leases personall estate whatsoever utensills houshold
                  stuff implements and things whatsoever of what Kind nature prop
                  erty Soever the same be or can be found which the said Richard
                  Loyd by deed of Gift made the first day of September Anno Dom

              p. 226  One thousand Six hundred Seventy One did give and confirme unto
                  me the Said Thomas Dent To have hold levy use and dispose off
                  take and enjoy all the Said goods Chattells leases personall estate
                  houshold stuff and implements whatsoever and all other the premisses
                  aforesaid unto the said Richard Loyd his executors administrators
                  and assignes for ever from henceforth without any manner of claime
                  challenge or demand whatsoever of or by any person or persons
                  whatsoever And I the Said Thomas Dent all and Singular the goods
                  chattells leases implements and things whatsoever and all other the
                  premisses unto the Said Richard Loyd his executors administrators
                  and assignes against all people shall and will warrant and defend by
                  these presents for ever of all which goods and chattells I the said
                  Thomas Dent have putt the Said Richard Loyd in full and peaceable
                  possession by the gift & delivery of One Silver Seale the day of the
                  date of these presents in the name of possession and Seizin of all
                  and Singular the said premisses In wittnesse whereof I the Said
                  Thomas Dent have hereunto sett my hand and Seale this Sixth day
                  of September Annocp Doth One thousand Six hundred Seventy One
