                Provincial Court Proceedings, 1673. 137

        The said Tennison also Desireth his brand marke for his horses Liber MM
       might be also Recorded wch is as followeth vizt.
        Branded on the neare Buttock with a fire forke with three pronges.

       Maryland ss. At a Provincial Cort of the Right honoble Cecil Lord
       Baltamore &c Lord and Proprietary of the said Province held at the
       Citty of St Maryes on Tuesday the Eleaventh day of November in
       the 42th yeare of the Dominion of his said Lopp over Maryland
       &c Annoq Domini 1673. and from the said Eleaventh day of Novem
       ber the writ of Adjournmt of the said Lord Proprietary was ad
       journed untill the Twelveth day of the same November and there
       continued untill the seaventeenth day of the same November before
       his Lopps Justices hereunto assigned on the said Twelveth day was
       prsent

               Tho Taylour
       Morgan Jones peticions this Cort to be Cleared of the Estate of
       John Davis deceased came into his hands by marryeing the p.76
       widdow according to a ordr of this Court Directed to the Comrs of
       St Maryes County and in wch the said Comrs have as yet Done
       nothing Ordered by the Court that the said Coma be served with
       the former ordr of this Court in the prmises, and are hereby
       Comanded to take notice thereof and if they doe not pforme ye same
       then to signify to this Cort the Reasons that they doe not, and also
       the whole state of ye case that this cort being fully informed in the
       business may doe therein as to Justice appteineth.

        Vincent Atchinson of Talbot County who married with Hanah
       sister of Mary wife & Executive of William Smith Deceased Peti
       cions this Cort that whereas the said William Smith the 9th of
       August 1666 had surveyed for him One Thowsand Acres of Land
       called Colchester lyeing in Talbot County on the Northside of
       Chester River, wch said Certifficate saith and Running for breadth
       North Easte up the Creeke fower hundred perches to another
       marked Oake. and the Patent thereof bearing date the thirteenth
       of the same August saith in the said lyne for breadth North Easte
       up the Creeke Two hundred pches to another marked Oake, so that
       in the said Patent is Two hundred pches instead of foure hundred
       pches the Court making full Examinacon into the prmises Doe finde
       that it was only the Error of the Clerke and therefore doe ordr the
       said Patent to be vacated upon Record, and that a new one issue
       according to the Certifficate bearing Date as the former.
