Read the second Time in this House the Bill entitled "A Supple-
mentary Act to the Act entitled An Act for licensing Ordinary
Keepers Hawkers Pedlars and Petty Chapmen" and will Pass with
the following Amendment Viz.t After the Word "Jury" in the first
line of the second Page leave out the rest of the Bill and insert the
following Words Viz.t "And in case any of the Clerks of the County
Courts of this Province shall neglect to return to the Commissioners
for Emitting Bills of Credit as by Law they are directed and required
the Lists of all Persons to whom Ordinary Licences shall be granted
And if any Sheriff shall neglect to make Payment to the said Com-
missioners on or before the 20.th day of October yearly of all Monies
by him received for Ordinary Licences then and in such Case the said
Commissioners are hereby directed and required to make out and
