Money and no more And if any cask or other Vessel gauged and
marked by the said Gauger, or his lawful deputy shall be found
lacking one or more Gallons of the Quantity Numbered or marked
on the said cask or Vessel the aforesaid Gauger shall forfeit eight
Shillings Current Money for each Gallon lacking or exceeding the
Number or Mark so set down on each Cask

recovered
and applied.]

And be it further enacted that all and every the Penalties and
forfietures in and by this act set and appointed shall be applied one
half toward defraying the County charge and the other half to the
Informer or him or them that will sue or warrant for the same
if the said penalties do not exceed fifty Shillings Current Money
to be recovered before One Justice of the Peace as in Case of Small
Debts and if above fifty Shillngs to be sued for and recovered in
any Court of Record within this Province

This Act to Continue three Years and to the end of the next Session
of Assembly which shall happen there After.

An Act for the Payment of Public Creditors
Be it Enacted by the Right Honourable the Lord Proprietary
by and with the advice and consent of his Governor and the Upper
and Lower Houses of Assembly and the Authority of the same
That of the Bills of credit emitted or to be emitted by virtue of the
act Entitled an Act for Emitting Bills of Credit and applying Part
thereof, the Commissioners for emitting Bills of Credit shall and
they are hereby authorised and required to Deliver out of the Eighty
Thousand Dollars, to be emitted by virtue of the said Act for the
Purposes therein Particularly mentioned and for such other Pur-
poses as should be appointed by Act of the General Assembly to the
several Persons their Executors, Administrators Assigns or Orders
who are allowed by the Publick or to such of them as shall offer to
receive the same the Value according to the Rate of one Dollar and
two third parts of a Dollar for every Hundred pounds of Tobacco
and according to the Rate of Seven Shillings and Six pence in
Money allowed to them respectively as they appear to be allowed
