Which was read. On Motion, ordered, That the Message from the
Upper House by Benjamin Ogle, Esq of the 22.d December last,
be read, and it was read accordingly,
Whereupon the Account of James Brooks was unanimously
rejected.
The Bill, entitled, An Act to preserve the Independence of the
Members of the Lower House of Assembly of this Province was
read the second Time, and the Question was put that the said Bill
do pass ? Resolved in the Affirmative.
