Post Meridem.
The House met.
The Bill, entitled, An Act for the Regulation of Officers Fees,
was sent to the Upper House by M.r Worthington, M.r Beall,
M.r Smallwood, M.r Veazy, and M.r Barnes.
On Motion, Ordered, That Leave be given to bring in a Bill,
entitled, An Act empowering the Justices of Calvert County, to levy
on the taxable Inhabitants of Christ-Church Parish in the said
County, the Quantity of Tobacco therein mentioned, for the Pur-
pose of finishing and compleating their Parish Church; and that
M.r Somervell, M.r J. Hall, M.r Parran, and M.r Robins do pre-
pare and bring in the same.
The House adjourns till Monday Morning 9 O'Clock.

The House met.
All Members present as on Saturday except M.r Paca, M.r Weems,
M.r Earle, M.r Sim, M.r Contee, and M.r Chamberlaine.
The Proceedings of Saturday were read.

M.r Thomas brings in and delivers to M.r Speaker, a Bill, entitled,
An Act for repealing an Act against Ingrossers and Regraters; and
a Bill, entitled, An Act concerning Provincial Grand Jurors. Which
were severally read the first Time and ordered to lie on the Table.
A Bill, entitled, An Act for the Relief of Benjamin Harris of
Frederick County, was read the first Time and ordered to lie on
the Table.
On Motion, persuant to a Petition preferred last Session, Ordered,
That Leave be given to bring in a Bill to empower the Justices of
Somerset and Worcester County Courts, to levy on the Taxable
Inhabitants of Coventry Parish, the Quantity of Thirty-two Thou-
sand Pounds of Tobacco, for the Uses and Purposes therein men-
tioned; and that M.r Chaille, M.r Holland, M.r Purnell, M.r Robins,
and M.r Waters, do prepare and bring in the same.
The Petition of sundry Inhabitants of Prince Georges County
was read the second Time and granted, and Leave given to bring in
a Bill pursuant to the Prayer thereof. Ordered, That M.r Beall,
M.r Tyler, M.r Sim, M.r Contee, and M.r Chase, do prepare and
bring in the same.
The Bill, entitled, An Act for abolishing June County Courts,
was read the second Time and passed.
The House adjourns till 3 O'Clock.
