The Order of the Day for taking into Consideration the Gov-
ernor's Message of the 8th Instant, with the Propositions therein
inclosed being Read, RESOLVED, That the same be now taken into
Consideration.
On taking the same into Consideration the Question was put, that
the following be entered as the Resolve of this House, viz. RESOLVED
That it is the Opinion of this House, that an Act, entitled, An Act
for the Establishment of Religious Worship in this Province ac-
cording to the Church of England, and for the Maintenance of
Ministers, was not enacted by legal and constitutional Authority,
and is therefore void? Resolved in the Affirmative.

Maintenance of the Clergy agreeable to either of the said Propo-
sitions.

for ingrossing.
