WEDNESDAY, December 8, 1773.

THE House met. All Members present as on Yesterday, except
Mr. Bond. Mr. Emails, and Mr. Somervell. The Proceedings
of Yesterday were read.

ORDERED, That Mr. Smallwood and Mr. Earle do acquaint his
Excellency, that this House hath prepared an Address to be pre-
sented to him, and desires to know when and where he will be pleased
to receive it. They return and acquaint Mr. Speaker that the Gov-
ernor signified he would receive the Address in about Half an Hour
in the Conference Chamber.

ORDERED, That Mr. J. Hall, Mr. Beall, Mr. Johnson, and Mr.
Lloyd, do present the Address to his Excellency.

His Excellency communicates to Mr. Speaker the following Mes-
