Note, That the above Copper is calculated on a Supposition that
it may be had from Bristol, but if it should not, the London Price
for Copper of the same Thickness is 1/3 1/2 p Pound having been
laid before this House relative to the Publick Building, and the
House being satisfied that the Slate Cover contracted for would
not answer the Purpose intended, the Question was put, Whether
'tis the Opinion of this House the said Publick Building be covered
with Copper or Shingles? Resolved it be covered with Shingles.
