All Members present as on Yesterday except M.r Rumsey, M.r
Sim, and M.r Reeder
The Proceedings of Yesterday were read.
M.rContee, M.r W.Thomas, M.r Allen, M.r Robins, M.r Dennis and
M.r Chaille have Leave of Absence
M.r Buchanan hath Leave of Absence till Monday next
The Petition of Alexander Cumming was read a second Time
Ordered, That the said Petition be referred to the Consideration
of a Committee and that they do examine the Matter thereof and
report the same as it shall appear to them to the House, and M.r
Grahame, M.r Hammond M.r Mackall and M.r Harrison are ap-
pointed a Committee accordingly and they have Power to send for
Persons Papers and Records

Nov. 9

Daniel of Saint Thomas Jenifer Esq.r from the Upper House
delivers to M.r Speaker the Paper Bills N.° 13, 14, 15, 16, severally
indorsed "By the Upper House of Assembly November 8.th 1771
The ingrosscd Bill whereof is the Original read and assented to
Signed by Order U Scott Cl. Up Ho."

And a Bill entitled An Additional Supplementary Act to the Act
entitled An Act for the Relief of the Poor within the several Counties
therein mentioned thus indorsed "By the Upper House of Assembly
November 8.th 1771 Read the first and second Time by an especial
Order and will pass
Signed by Order U Scott Cl. Up. Ho."

Which last mentioned Bill was read here and past for ingrossing
The Bill entitled An Act for a further Emission of Bills of Credit.
And the Bills entitled a Supplementary Act to the Act entitled An
Act for licensing Ordinary Keepers, Hawkers, Pedlars and Petty
